I can’t take credit for this recipe. It started off in my sister Sarah’s kitchen as Oatmeal Sprinkle. Sarah would put it on top of a warm bowl of steel cut oats and it added the most amazing nutty flavor and crunch.

When I started making Sarah’s Oatmeal Sprinkle I found the mix could be used on so much more than just oatmeal, so I changed the name to Sarah’s Sprinkle.

Hemp seeds, chia seeds, raw walnuts, and ground flax meal provide a powerhouse of nutritional benefits.

Hemp seeds contain all essential amino acids, omega-3 fatty acids, and essential vitamins and minerals, promoting heart health and aiding digestion. Chia seeds, rich in omega-3s and fiber, contribute to heart health, provide antioxidants, and aid in hydration. Raw walnuts supply omega-3s, antioxidants, and a satisfying combination of protein and fiber, supporting cardiovascular health and satiety. Ground flax meal, abundant in omega-3s and fiber, aids digestion, promotes heart health, and contains lignans with potential antioxidant benefits.

Together, these 4 foods offer a diverse range of nutrients essential for overall well-being, making them valuable additions to a balanced and health-conscious diet.
